BC Bears teams are selected by BC coaches, based on performances during club and regional rep seasons, such as the PRCs.

BC Bears are all the Representative Teams for the British Columbia Rugby Union across Senior (Men’s and Women’s) and Age-Grade (Boys and Girls) levels. While the BC Bears name was officially launched in 2009, the Province has been represented by teams for over a century.

Our BC Bears teams compete at championships and tournaments which are attended by Rugby Canada Coaches and Selectors. Many players who represented BC Rugby at Provincial level have been invited to participate in Rugby Canada National Teams.

 

BC Rugby is proud to be part of a long tradition of developing elite Rugby players and supplying our National Men’s and Women’s Team with world-class talent.
